About MeHello and welcome! My name is Henrique DaMour and I am a bilingual play-by-play broadcaster, host, and journalist. I primarily broadcast League of Legends these days, covering the CBLOL (Brazil's top division) extensively as a founding member, host, play-by-play broadcaster, and Head of Content for its official, Riot-partnered English broadcast. I was also fortunate enough to be able to host the 2023 CBLOL Split 2 Finals in Recife, Brazil in-arena in front of thousands of the most passionate fans in the world, as well as the Dot Esports Free Agency Show, an annual staple in the esport's ecosystem and offseason alongside talented analysts and journalists on-site in Austin, Texas in 2021.
I'm employed full-time as a Voiceover Specialist for UnityWorks, an advertising firm under the J.D. Power umbrella. We design ad campaigns for mainly automotive clients from back to front in-house, where I provide voiceover to a range of reads and styles. I recently worked full-time as an Assistant Video Producer and Assistant Social Media Manager at Dot Esports, writing scripts, editing, and doing voiceover work to grow our presence across various social media platforms. I most recently called traditional sports for Chicago Dogs of the American Association of Independent Baseball in the summer of 2019, right after graduating from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. There, I was blessed enough to call baseball, basketball, football and lacrosse games for our student radio station (WNUR), as well as on TV for the Big Ten Network's Student U paid broadcasts. In the summer of 2017, I got to enjoy the full experience of being the broadcaster for a team and calling games every day. I got to call 72 games for the Duluth Huskies of the Northwoods League that year, and the next summer did the same for the 2018 Cape Cod League Champion Wareham Gatemen. Sports, music and esports are my three passions in this life, and through various people taking chances on me I've been able to write about all of them, from Inside NU, to Entertainment Weekly, to Dot Esports. All of my written work can be seen here. At the end of the day, I love telling stories in some form or another, and can think of nothing else I'd rather do. If there's any way you think I can be a part of your future, I'm always looking for new opportunities, so just let me know! Thank you so much for stopping by, and never hesitate to reach out over any platform if you want to connect. -Henrique |
