About Me

Hello and welcome! My name is Henrique DaMour and I am a play-by-play broadcaster and journalist. I most recently called "conventional" sports for Chicago Dogs of the American Association of Independent Baseball in the summer of 2019, and am currently broadcasting League of Legends for various high-level amateur leagues, as well as writing scripts, editing, and doing voiceover work for social media content at Dot Esports.

I am a graduate of Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. There, I was blessed enough to call baseball, basketball, football and lacrosse games for our student radio station, WNUR, as well as on TV for the Big Ten Network's Student U broadcasts.

In the summer of 2017, I got to enjoy the full experience of being the broadcaster for a team and calling games every day. I got to call 72 games for the Duluth Huskies of the Northwoods League that year, and the next summer did the same for the 2018 Cape Cod League Champion Wareham Gatemen.

Sports, music and esports are my three passions in this life, and through various people taking chances on me I've been able to write about all of them, from Inside NU, to Entertainment Weekly, to Dot Esports. All of my written work can be seen here.

At the end of the day, I love telling stories in some form or another, and can think of nothing else I'd rather do. If there's any way you think I can be a part of your future, I'm always looking for new opportunities, so just let me know!

Thank you so much for stopping by, and never hesitate to reach out over any platform if you want to connect.
